Overview Since 2012, Giving Home Health Care has supported individuals affected by health conditions related to their work in nuclear facilities for the Department of Energy. We provide personalized, in-home care and serve patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in Caliente, NV, to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care provided at the patients residence. Responsibilities Execute physician prescribed plans of care Complete compliant documentation of the care provided in the system of record Manage and administer prescribed medication, treatment, and therapies Conduct patient assessments and coordination of care Perform various activities associated with daily living Monitor vitals and GI intake and output Assess skin integrity and administer wound care Monitor changes in patient condition such as weight, self-care abilities, and indicators of disease progression Communicate with family members, physicians, case managers, and other designated individuals regarding patient health Provide education and training to the patient, their family, and/or the Home Health Aide Work one-on-one with patients in their home to provide a comfortable environment Collaborate with and supervise Certified Nursing Assistants and Personal Care Attendants Perform other personal care services as necessary to meet patient needs Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited college or university (Associate or Baccalaureate in Nursing) Current State or Compact License as a Registered Nurse TB test and physical examination Current CPR certification Maintain required insurance Good interpersonal skills Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Ability to stand or walk for prolonged periods, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move patients Ability to operate under stressful conditions and make quick decisions dependable transportation and willingness to commute to the patients home Ability to provide basic medical management up to medically fragile end-of-life care Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience as an RN in a clinical or home health setting Ability to assist with two-person assist $40 - $40 an hour Registered Nurse $40/hour $1,500 bonus after 90 days To provide exceptional care, we rely on a team of passionate professionals.
