We are seeking a full-time certified X-ray Technologist for our fast-paced orthopedic practice. The ideal candidate should be professional, enthusiastic, and dependable, with the capability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Anticipates challenges and develops and implements strategies for addressing them.
  • High level of service delivery. Demonstrate initiative with ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and adapt to changing situations.
  • Attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Digital Radiographic equipment operates in compliance with established guidelines.
  • Diagnostic radiology services cater to patients of all ages, adhering to radiation protection principles and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Patient care and education are integral to the execution of procedures.
  • Accurate patient positioning and technique selection ensure the technical quality of radiographs and contribute to the department's goal of reducing retake rates.
  • Daily tasks encompass ordering x-rays, updating schedules, aiding the team in the exam room, and escorting patients to and from waiting areas.
  • Work practices incorporate radiation safety, contact precautions, proper requisition handling, and pre/post-procedure protocols.
  • Tasks related to additional departmental, organizational, or network objectives are completed as required.
  • Management may assign other duties as necessary.
Experience:
  • Radiologic Technologist: Minimum of 2 years preferred.
  • New graduates will be considered.

Education:
  • Associate's degree
License/Certification:
  • Required: Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT Certification.
Shift availability:
  • Day Shift
