Job Summary

The Student Enrollment Recruiter is a key representative of Roane State Community College, responsible for driving student recruitment initiatives and promoting the college's programs and services to prospective students. This role involves building relationships with students, parents, high school counselors, and community organizations to achieve enrollment goals.

The role primarily operates in a professional office setting, with frequent travel to high schools, community events, and other recruitment venues. The position may require occasional lifting of recruitment materials and equipment.

Job Duties

Serve as a student enrollment recruiter for the college with the purpose of increasing student applicants for both traditional and non-traditional students.

Work with various college departments to recruit traditional and non-traditional students.

Support recruitment programming, events and other initiatives both on and off campus.

Develop relationships with high schools and community partners in the service area.

Represent RSCC at various community events to foster and support community relationships.

Collect data related to recruitment activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, education or related field.
One to three years of experience in student recruitment, admissions or related fields.
Higher education related work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Enthusiastic and passionate about higher education and student success.
Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
