Job Description Description: Technical resource to Depatie with primary responsibility to provide engineering capability to the controls engineering team. Responsible for all facets of the product development process, from concept to creation, particularly to coordinate the design effort including design, prototypes, and oversee hand off to production team or suppliers. Responsible for all facets of the product development process, from concept to creation, particularly to coordinate the design effort including design, prototypes, and oversee hand off to production team or suppliers.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Interaction for technical support and guidance. Develop and manage control systems requirements. Electrical design; control panels, wire harnesses. Analysis, troubleshooting, and review. Control System Programming. Documentation and software validation. Complete systems test/verification planning, development, and execution. Drawing creation for build documentation, including 2D and 3D CAD. Engineering Documentation. Assist and guide Engineering Technician for building prototypes and preproduction units. Lab infrastructure development and maintenance. Attend conferences and participate in other learning and growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 5 or more years technical

knowledge/experience

with electrical control systems. 4-year college Technical degree in related Discipline or equivalent experience. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong customer service skills and time management. Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. A valid driver’s license. PREFERRED SKILLS Minor in computer science. Experience with IQAN Design/Run programming. Experience with C programming language and scripting languages such as Python/Lua. Graphical programming, Crank, QT or other software. 3D modeling experience with CAD, Fusion 360, Solidworks, Inventor etc. 2D schematic layout experience, AutoCAD, RapidHarness, Coreldraw,etc. Experience with CAN BUS systems and protocols, SAE J1939, CANOPEN, etc. Microsoft office suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Proficient in soldering. Knowledge and experience with electrical hand tools and crimpers.
