We are working with a multinational pipeline and energy client that is growing and adding a

Process Safety Support Engineer

to their team.

Pay Rate:

$69.79/hour on w2 Work Type:

Onsite – Houston, TX 77079 Duration:

4-month contract (with possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

Process Hazard Analysis Facilitate or oversee the execution of Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) for assigned operating regions, as required for baseline PHAs, projects, and MOCs (Responsibility to conduct using PHA-Pro software). Qualitatively analyze and evaluate a wide range of PHA scenarios affecting financial, safety, operational reliability, environmental, and reputational receptors using the 7x7 Operational Risk Matrix (Responsibility to conduct). Work together with subject matter experts and decision-makers to make recommendations for additional safeguards based on PHA results (Responsibility to support and participate). Asset-Management of Change Ensure asset-related changes are effectively managed by facilitating the Asset Management of Change (AMOC) process for the assigned operating region (Responsibility to conduct). Support the assigned operating region in planning and completing changes through the Asset-Management of Change process (Responsibility to support and participate). Participate as requested in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews to verify all requirements in the AMOC have been completed (Responsibility to conduct). Support the workforce in the use of the AMOC application (Maximo), with a strong focus on user support and satisfaction (Responsibility to support and participate). Responsible for maintaining the Power BI dashboard for AMOCs and ensuring timely notifications are sent to task assignees and regional AMOC coordinators regarding any overdue tasks or AMOCs (Responsibility to conduct). Create monthly reports on the Key Performance indicators of AMOCs for the BU. (Responsibility to conduct). Process Safety Event Investigation Support incident investigations as a Process Safety Subject Matter Expert for significant process safety incidents in the assigned operating areas (Responsibility to support and participate). Create monthly reports on the process safety events for the BU. (Responsibility to conduct). Qualification: A bachelor’s degree in engineering. Relevant Experience.
