Sr. BRT Design Project Manager Boston, MA & Sacramento, CA Be involved in transforming communities with our National Bus Rapid Transit Team. WSP is initiating a search for a Sr. BRT Design Project Manager to support our Boston, MA and Sacramento, CA locations. Responsibilities Act as a technical expert on Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) projects at all phases, from concept to construction. Provide project management on medium to large-size projects with potential for growth, including contract negotiation and managing scope, schedule, and budget. Support larger projects as a Program Manager, Project Manager, Task Manager, or Segment Manager. Assist local offices pursuing or delivering BRT projects nationally with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel. Demonstrate skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication. Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals, and providing other business development support. Manage technical staff. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources, and conduct and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Urban Planning. 12+ years of experience in Corridor development, Transit projects, or equivalent. Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) experience. PE license required. Experience working with agencies on transit projects. Experience with public meetings and knowledge of City neighborhoods, community groups, and elected leadership. Demonstrated organizational and communications skills. Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPs health, safety, and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree in Engineering. Direct experience with BRT. PTOE. Strong experience in managing the review and approval of documents and discipline-specific deliverables, certifications, processes, and plans in a multi-project environment is highly desirable. Compensation: Expected Salary: $150,000-$250,000.
