We want you to applyJob Summary and QualificationsAs a Dietary Technician, you will be responsible for the clerical aspects of preparation for patient meal service through accurate menu processing on the touch screen computer and assisting patients with menu selection over the phoneYou will answer menu line within a timely manner and utilize excellent customer serviceYou will assist customer with selections that are available to them based on their nutritional restrictionsYou will document all meals and nourishment’ served to each patient for all mealsYou will monitor the tray line food quality and confirm proper adherence to dietary restrictions per patientYou will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation of each patient’s menusYou will process Room Service customer orders including the patient and family-initiated orders following standard procedures and time framesWhat qualifications you will need:ExperienceBasic computer and clerical knowledge1 year of experience in food service in a healthcare setting – preferredExperience with HealthTouch Room service Dining Software - preferredLicenses and CertificationsCurrent ServSafe Food Handler Permit, Travis County Health Department Food Handler Card or State Food Safety permitSt.David’s North Austin Medical Center is a multi-specialty hospital in Texas withmore than 360 beds.
