Job Title: Social Media Manager
Description:
We are an e-commerce business in the pet products market, seeking a talented and experienced freelance social media manager to help grow our online presence. Our goal is to engage with our audience, increase brand awareness, and drive traffic to our website. We currently have over 100k Instagram followers, 50k YouTube subscribers, and active accounts on Facebook, TikTok (@imguineadad), and Instagram (@guineadad).
Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement social media strategies to achieve business goals.
-Oversee and improve the content creation process, providing guidance to a junior employee.
-Ensure all content is high-quality, engaging, and free of errors.
-Create, curate, and manage content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest).
-Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
-Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies to improve performance.
-Collaborate with the junior employee and marketing team to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.
-Conduct audits of existing posts, videos, and other content, providing suggestions for optimization and improvement.
-Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a social media manager or similar role.
-Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Creative thinking and ability to generate engaging content.
-Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
-Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
-Experience in auditing and optimizing social media content.
-Experience in the pet product industry or e-commerce is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a social media manager.
-Portfolio of successful social media campaigns.
