Location; Williamsburg, Virginia

Scope of Work: The contract provides general warehousing services; maintain and repair containers,
biomedical equipment, and civil engineering equipment (CEE); produce Deployable Medical Systems
(DEPMEDS) at The Navy Expeditionary Medical Support Command (NEMSCOM), Cheatham Annex (CAX),
Williamsburg, Virginia.

Tasks include but not limited to:
-Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of
transporting products or supplies.
-Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems or processes,
such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
-Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer
issues.
-Develop and document standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling,
storing, shipping, or salvaging products or materials.
-Analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes,
product volumes or mixes, or carriers.

Knowledge:
-Knowledge of principles and methods for moving people or goods by air, rail, sea, or road,
including the relative costs and benefits.

Skills:
-Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions,
conclusions, or approaches to problems.
-Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate
options and implement solutions.
-Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
-Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate
one.

Abilities:
-The ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words
and sentences.
-The ability to communicate information and ideas in speaking so others will understand.
-The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
-The ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving
the problem, only recognizing that there is a problem.

Must pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)
background investigation (SF-85)
