Nature of Work
The Project Manager is responsible for representing Kuttner, our values and technologies at our clients and by managing capital equipment projects and customer relations.
The Project Manager is responsible for leading a team of professionals in completing projects by a set deadline to uphold business initiatives. All of this happens within the framework of achieving the projects and our company's goals and with preparation and presentation of updates regularly to upper management
Innovative thinking, production experience and strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans are one of the basics of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Lead the initiation and planning of a project and ensure technical feasibility
Prepare quotations, concept drawings, and project proposals to support capital equipment Sale
Support selling the Solution/Project to the customer
Establish detailed work plans
Select project team members from existing departments
Set up budgets for different project aspects
Set or adjusting project schedules achieving milestones
Participate in Design for implementation of improved design for better integration or function on site
Communicate requirements with technical suppliers, sources components, solicits and reviews vendor quotes
Overlook and take responsibility in election of sub-suppliers for ordering the (main) components from our sub-suppliers
Overlook and take responsibility in election of sub-suppliers to execute field activities.
Ensure all projects are delivered on time within the stipulated scope and budget
Develop a detailed plan to monitor and track the progress of the project
Coordinate with internal and external parties for the smooth execution of projects
Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed
Create and maintain a comprehensive project documentation
Overlook proper installation of our technologies in the field in cooperation with suppliers
Overlook field activities for reporting and quality controls
Set up guideline for documentation and helps project team finalizing documentation at the end of project
Perform other projects and responsibilities as assigned by Manager
Be able to read and understand mechanical prints
Be able to read and understand basic electrical prints
Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently
Must be able to communicate effectively
Travel is required, and must be able to travel on short notice
Qualifications

Required Experience
3 years hands on experience in heavy industries
Experience in office software, designing and drafting using Windows Office and preferably AutoCAD
Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and/or commensurate experience
Working on group projects
Strong communication and interpersonal skills working with coworker, management and customers
Foundry Experience or Experience in Environmental Controls is a plus
