ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

(Includes but not limited to the following)

  1. Responsible for the set-up, maintenance and operation of the bar.
  2. Takes drink orders from guests, food servers and cocktail servers.
  3. Prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with standard recipes.
  4. Mixes ingredients for cocktails and serves wine and bottled or draft beer.
  5. Rings drink orders into register, collect payment and makes change.
  6. Correctly entering all comps drinks and following Stockman's procedures regarding any comp drinks.
  7. Sell change to slot players as needed.
  8. Wash and sterilize glassware and prepare garnishes for drinks.
  9. Adheres to all gaming rules and regulations involved with Stockman's change bank.
  10. Must have basic knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and be familiar with standard drink recipes.
  11. Must possess basic math skills and have ability to handle money.
  12. May be required to run Cocktails during your shift taking care of the guests on the gaming floor.
  13. Assist in Jackpot signature as needed.
  14. Be very aware of over serving our guests. All team members will be required to take the TIPS CLASS when available. Until you are TIPS trained if you think a guest is over the limit and becoming intoxicated ask a team member or Supervisor to evaluate the situation if you are unsure.
