At WET, you won't merely be developing code that rests on a desk. You'll be collaborating with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team of subject matter experts. You will be creating custom PCBs with innovative approaches to tackle problems so unique, you might be the first to attempt them. You'll shepherd your creations from inception through the first power up, and eventually seeing your work fuse technology with art, building masterpieces that will mesmerize and enchant millions.Candidates should have a solid level of proficiency in the following areas: Experience developing custom firmware in C for various control applications Electrical engineering hardware design (voltage regulators, digital logic, communication transceivers) Experience in rapid prototyping and hardware bring up Knowledge of object-oriented programming design patterns Experience structuring C code for manageability and reusability Simulation tools such as LTSpice Ability to direct technicians on the fabrication and testing of PCBs and cable assembliesCandidates preferably should also have knowledge of several of the following topics: PCB layout and schematic capture tools, preferably Altium Comfortable using low-level debugging tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) Writing firmware on bare metal (no operating system) as well as systems utilizing embedded RTOS Familiarity with scripting languages (Python) Embedded design using resource limited microcontrollers (ARM Cortex-M0+) Development of test plans to including verification and validation Development of functional testers and work instructions to support production Unit testing framework (Ceedling, CUnit, CuTest, AceUnit) Experience with low-level protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-485) Design analog front ends and circuitry to interface with precision instruments/sensors Control theory design and motor control experience EMI/RFI shielding, mitigation and filteringEducation:Bachelors in Electrical Engineering but preferably an MSEE.Company Description WET is the worldwide leader in fountain design, having designed over 200 fountains around the globe such as the Fountains of Bellagio and the Dubai Fountain (the largest choreographed fountain in the world), using fundamental elements like water, fire, ice, fog, and light, and we are currently hiring.WET fosters an environment that allows engineers to thrive.
