JOB SUMMARY

Intex is seeking a Controller who will be responsible to oversee and/or perform all the aspects Finance & Accounting Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Cash Management and Cash Flow Projections

•Timely Month End Closings

•Customer Invoicing for Tooling or Steel projects

•Maintain job costing for Tooling or Steel projects

•Inventory Management

•ERP System responsibility & thorough knowledge

•Metric Reporting - Daily, Weekly, Monthly

•Budget Preparation

•Manage company's insurance coverage, including compliance

•Manage the company's compliance with local and federal regulatory matters

•Handles all tax return reporting, along with providing information to outside accounting fim for preparation.

• Adept in fiscal management principles and processes, including resource management and needs assessment.

MANAGERIAL ROLE

There are supervisory responsibilities:

•Oversees the daily workflow of the accounting department.

•Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

•Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.

Requirements

Qualifications

•Work experience: At least 3 years at an upper level Accounting role including 2 years in manufacturing.

•Education: BS or BA in related field or equivalent experience.

•Computer skills: proficient with Microsoft office skills.

•Organization skills: excellent organizational, ability to multi-tasking and shift priorities as needed.

•Cross-functional skills: ability to work well cross-functionally with the IDTs; provides excellent internal and external customer service.

•Communication skills: excellent written and verbal skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.

•Problem solving skills: good problem-solving skills with the ability to provide easily understood solutions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
