Responsibilities of Credit Analyst:

  • Receive customer application, quote the loan package, and complete all follow-up documentation and activities to successfully close loans
  • Develop and maintain a high degree of visibility for Sachem in the marketplace, including growth into new geographic markets
  • Underwrite and analyze property valuations and other supporting documents including appraisals, BPOs, title reports, etc.
  • Analyze detailed financial and credit data, matching customer needs with an appropriate loan program
  • Maintain relationship with the borrower throughout the life of the loan, including assistance with construction funding as applicable
  • Other ad hoc duties as needed

Preferred Experience of Credit Analyst:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, real estate, or related field
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of commercial lending experience or related experience in commercial real estate or other financial roles
  • Documented commercial and/or residential mortgage funding over the past 12 months referred primarily from established, local, external sources
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn program-specific software applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
