PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the procurement specialist to ensure that all deliveries satisfy open orders or projects and report any backorders.
  • Monitor Inventory levels and materials on a regular basis
  • Effectively communicate with procurement specialist to ensure order accuracy.
  • Deliver a weekly Purchase Orders report that include satisfied and open orders with invoice reconciliation.
  • Issue Purchase Orders as demand requires and in accordance with supplier lead times.
  • Attend regular calls with internal teams and suppliers


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
•Require high school/GED. Prefer a 2 or 4-year Degree in Business.
•1-2 years' Purchasing/Buyer experience in the Construction and/or Engineering field preferred.
•Experience in Solar, Renewable Energy or Power Generation preferred.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
•Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
•Ability to analyze and solve problems.
•Knowledge of procurement rules and regulations.
•Ability to make procedural decisions and judgments.
•Ability to organize and coordinate.
•Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Excel, etc.).
•Experience with Viewpoint Software preferred.
•Ability to travel as needed.
