Job responsibilities

Advises cross-functional teams on technological matters within your domain of expertiseServes as the function's go-to subject matter expertConsults with engineering teams across the line of business to promote operational excellence in the new production engineering modelContributes to the development of change control reporting deriving metrics from incident dataCreates processes that will assist in lowering relevant mean time to incident resolutionInfluences leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teamsEvangelize the "you build it, you run it" incident management philosophy across the entire business lineChampions the firm's culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experienceHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stabilityExpert in one or more programming language to include the Java Stack and microservices development best practices.Advanced knowledge of software application development and technical processes with considerable in-depth knowledge of incident management best practicesExperience applying expertise and new methods to determine solutions for complex technology problems in one or more technical disciplinesExperience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product ManagerAbility to present and effectively communicate with Senior Leaders and ExecutivesUnderstanding of the businessPractical cloud native experience, specifically AWSExperience matrix management techniquesPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
