CNC Lathe Set-Up Machinist

Southampton, PA

Qualifications:

+ Set Up and Operates CNC machines to produce production parts and assemblies

+ Take Blueprint, full set up of CNC Lathe Machine and Operate

+ Operates manual machines such as saws, mills, and lathes

+ Positions parts in specific locations using a variety of fastening devices

+ Operates hand-held tools, electrical tools, and/or pneumatic tools

+ Operates lift equipment as needed

+ Uses precision measuring tools as required

+ Ability to recognize various material types used in department and adjust equipment if needed

+ Ability to recognize worn tooling and change in machine as required

+ Verifies accuracy of completed product or batch inspects

+ Reports defective materials, discrepancies, process malfunctions or completed products that are not in compliance with company and/or customer specifications to the Department Lead

+ Completes all necessary paperwork as required, including in process or carbon copy production sheets

Work Environment:

+ Temperature controlled facility

+ First shift 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

+ Overtime available but not required

Additional Skills:

+ Minimum 5+ years experience as a CNC Set Up Machinist

+ Produce a high-quality product according to required specifications on a consistent basis

+ Operate all hand tools, machines and equipment successfully as required and with minimal supervision

+ Work as a productive team member who contributes to the organizations success
