We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team You will be responsible for the design and development of intelligent systems and industrial systems control.

Purpose:
To maintain and continuously improve the quality assurance system.
To coordinate and investigate problems with the product and processes. To recommend and/or implement corrective action.
To lead, coordinate customer complaints and drive timely disposition.
To improve customer and vendor satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Lead corrective action by using a variety of analytical and statistical tools.
Coordinate customer complaints and drive resolution.
Develop, implement, monitor, and control QA system to assure product quality based on customer and/or product specifications.
Interface with customers and suppliers to resolve quality problems.
Maintain and continuously improve personnel to QA standards.
Develop, motivate, and train qualified personnel to QA standards.
Solve internal and external quality problems.
Develop control plans, FMEAS, flow charts, etc.
Provide customer complaint summary and trends to all personnel.
Improve QA system procedures and instructions.
Train personnel in QA procedures, instructions, etc.
Monitor cost of quality, reduce waste and non-value-added activity.
Layout and use of measuring tools.
Audit our QA system.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering and/or equivalent experience (prefer ASQ Quality Auditor and Engineer certification).
QS/ISO 9000 auditor trained.
SPC, DOE, TOPS, APQP, PPAP
QFD
Layout and GD&T.
Effective communication with customers, suppliers, and employees.
Analytical problem solver.
Diplomatic
PC software, especially word-processing and spreadsheets.
5 years of QA experience in a manufacturing facility with QS/ISO certification.

Experience with Tier 1 automotive preferred.
