JOB DUTIES

Mix drinks according to Omaha Country Club standards. Memorize and execute specialty drink recipes created by the OCC Beverage Manager.

Greet members and guests with a friendly and accommodating demeanor.

Provide timely and accurate beverage service to ensure members enjoy the best dining experience possible from beginning, through middle, to end.

Take food and beverage orders of customers sitting at the bar, accurately answer any questions related to menu items and beverages, deliver food, and clear dishes.

Ensure proper cleanliness of the bar area.

Accurately enter transaction information into the computerized POS system.

Abide by all state and federal regulations and policies for serving alcoholic beverages.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must have extensive knowledge of wine and beer flavor profiles.

Successful candidates should be team players with a friendly, courteous and respectful demeanor.

Must have an optimistic attitude with a strong desire to provide the utmost in service excellence.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.

Potential applicants should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and be able to lift 30 pounds.

Must be neat and tidy while presenting a professional appearance.

Must be fluent in English.

Must be 19 years of age or older.

Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.

SCHEDULE

Part-time positions available.

OCC offers flexible scheduling to accommodate second jobs and school schedules. However, typical shifts are Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays: 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Friday and Saturday nights: 4:00 pm to Midnight. We are typically (but not exclusively) closed on Mondays.

This position requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability.

COMPENSATION

Starting Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Pay rate is commensurate with experience. No experience required.
