Description

SAIC is seeking a Systems Engineer supporting United States Army Intelligence and Security Command INSCOM in Fort Eisenhower, Ga.

Job Duties:
  • Provide operations and maintenance of the local cross domain solutions.Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) need experience with Windows, RHEL, Command Line Interface, and Cross Domain Solutions (Trusted Thin Client, Trusted Gateway System, High Speed Guard). Provide daily Touch-Maintenance for the local Cross Domain Solutions Perform quarterly security updates provided by Cross Domain Solution Vendors and report completion Ensure Cross Domain Solution functionality and availability, works with Enterprise Tier III and vendor to resolve issues that arise. Push image updates as required to Thin Client Infrastructure, and ensure functionality, user accessibility/usability
  • Install, maintain, and as necessary troubleshoot Operating System deployments of Windows, RHEL, and Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.Support shall provide Operating System (Windows & RHEL) SMEs to upgrade solutions, configuration using industry best practices, security hardening, and automated deployment. SMEs need experience with Windows, RHEL, VDIs, and VMware (vCenter, Viewconnector, vRealize Log Insight, Horizon AppVolumes, etc.)
  • Deploy Domain Controllers across the Converged Infrastructure enterprise.Additionally, support shall maintain Active Directory by defining groups, permission, and structure. SMEs need experience with Domain Controllers, Active Directory, Windows, and other COTs products.
  • Provide continued support of the Converged Infrastructure virtual environment, leveraging VMware products.
  • Install application upgrades for the VMware environment utilized on the Converged Infrastructure, and ensure functionality
  • Deploy Container Environment for Converged Infrastructure Single and Multi-Unit Configuration according to approved build baseline.
  • Support shall provide Application support for applications running on top of virtual Operating Systems (OS).Support shall conduct upgrades, enhancements, and deployments of applications both natively on the OS and through VMware AppVolumes. SMEs need experience with Windows, RHEL, Windows VDIs, VMware AppVolumes, Internet Browsers, and other COTS applications.Provide onsite support as needed to continue operations and maintenance of the Converged Infrastructure.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • Bachelors degree and (5) five years of experience: 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Required Security Clearance:
  • Active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Poly (US Citizenship required).
Required Skills:
  • Experience and proficiency in the operations and maintenance of Cross Domain Solutions, VMware products to include Teleco level capabilities, Kubernetes environment, Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and other modern technologies as required.
Required certification:
  • DoD 8140 - System Administration / Qualification Code: 451.
  • Personal Certifications: A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.
