Pay Rate: $24/hr

Shift: 1st Shift

As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide daily support in all HR functional areas under the guidance of the Executive Director of Human Resources. You will play a crucial role in recruitment, orientation and onboarding, training and development, payroll, benefits, leave management, workers' compensation, communication, records management, HRIS data entry, HR metric tracking, and other HR projects and events. This position supports the mission, vision, and goals of the University, aiming to make it an employer of choice in Higher Education.

Responsibilities:

Administer HR programs including retirement, compensation, benefits, leaves, talent management, and training.

Support onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, and succession planning.

Manage the Performance Management system by handling inquiries, running reports, and filing.

Process workers' compensation claims, retirement withdrawals, and submissions.

Address employment-related inquiries, referring complex issues to appropriate staff.

Assist with professional and organizational development programs, maintaining compliance training records, survey feedback, and enrollment.

Facilitate orientation and workshops, enhancing training programs for faculty and staff.

Support organizational development initiatives like focus groups and surveys for Adjuncts and Classified staff.

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
