General Summary:

Responsible for reviewing current internal and external quality indicators and ensuring quality of parts provided by suppliers

Essential Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the resolution of production related issues between areas.
  • On site supplier process reviews and audits.
  • Monitor and review current internal and external quality indicators and drive continuous improvement in an automotive environment.
  • Plan for and ensure the quality of supplied parts through collaborative partnerships within the company and with suppliers.
  • Perform activities related to successful completion of Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR).
  • Prepare detailed plans, reports, and schedules for the Quality Department.
  • Work well with cross functional teams.
  • Implement and enforce all policies and standards

Qualifications and Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field along with two (2) to five (5) years experience in the supplier quality engineering field within a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong self-responsibility, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible schedule to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Analytical problem solving and effective decision-making skills.
  • Ability to perform multi-tasks with multiple priorities within a designated time frame.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and discretion in both exercising company decisions and carrying out essential job duties that affect efficient business operations and its objectives, policies, practices, and conditions.

Specialized Skills and Knowledge Required

  • Ability to effectively communicate in Mandarin and English in both written and oral communications.
