Job Description: Reporting to the Head, Regional Project Delivery, the successful candidate will be the Deputy Project Delivery Director for the Region. The candidate will be responsible to:

Lead assigned Project Managers and Projects.

Support the ongoing development of our PM's, processes, and tools.

Lead assigned major projects as required.

In collaboration with internal project team and stakeholders, consultants, and contractors, the Candidate will be responsible to deliver projects to the highest EHS standards, on time, within budget, and to required quality and performance standards. The candidate will be based in Singapore but expected to travel as required across the region.

The Candidate will provide effective project management, planning, and control of assigned large-scale project(s) which includes the following:

Champion the project to zero harm and compliance to corporate and project EHS requirements.

Provide strategic input, experience, and expertise to organize, set-up, and expedite the project for success.

Coordinate and integrate the activities of all assistant project managers, project engineers, and other support staff on the project.

Establish priorities for the project staff based on owner and project requirements.

Establish and maintain an overall project delivery plan, including the cost, schedule, quality, and performance baseline.

Establish and maintain communication protocols across the project, including from internal departments and other stakeholders.

Manage project budget and costs, including the change management process.

Manage project schedule, including critical path analysis and work around planning.

Manage the bid and evaluation of required project consultants and contractors, including coordinating required management approvals.

Administer contracts, including maintaining strict compliance with the contract, scope of work, and compliance with project specifications.

Coordinate owners’ requirements and inputs to the project, including compliance with end-user requirements.

Coordinate authority, third party, and stakeholder interfaces such as Project Approvals and Power Supply Connection.

Communicate and report internally on project status, including weekly and monthly project dashboards.

Maintain project documentation.

Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks and champion project opportunities.

Manage the delivery/transition of the projects to DC Operation teams.

Coordinate end-users in accordance with acceptance criteria.

Support the development and training needs of the Project Management team.

Represent STT GDC in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity, and transparency.

Advise and establish clear project programs and milestones to monitor and report project progress.

Requirements: Bachelor’s (or Master) degree, preferably in a relevant construction or engineering discipline. Project Management qualification or similar equivalent training in the Engineering and Construction industry. Minimum 20 years' Project Management experience and more than 10 years' specific Data Center and other related Mission Critical (24x7) environment projects, including large-scale projects. Project Management Experience with a minimum aggregate project value of $1bn. Experience should include multiple countries across Asia, with demonstrated engagement at all project levels, including the Company Executive level. Experience in full-lifecycle Project Management from design and feasibility through to close-out and DLP. Demonstrated career progression in Engineering & Construction, including owner's side project delivery experience. Ability to plan, organize, and manage an international team of multi-disciplined resources. Excellent written and communication skills. MS Office, MS Project, Primavera and ProCore, or similar tools. Digital Project Management Tools and Practices. Project contracting and procurement capabilities. Project financial control capabilities. Proven ability to manage and lead teams to build collaboration and efficiency. Must be willing to travel as part of the job scope and be open to potentially relocate in-country for key project phases.
