Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Summary: Old Tucson Entertainment is looking for an enthusiastic Cashier Lead to help lead and direct our Food and Beverage support and cashiering staff. Good Lead Cashiers will provide specialized services for guests through the knowledge of customer service techniques, maintaining cash registers, and providing training on the Toast program. You'll greet customers with a smile when they walk in the door and offer assistance with anything they need. This role is ideal for friendly, personable workers with a passion and a desire to share our vision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise cashiering staff
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Greet customers as they come into the facility and offer your assistance with their orders.
  • Prepare and close cash registers for all F&B locations.
  • Provide training on Toast
  • Train on ringing up food orders and communicating those orders to the kitchen staff, including any special requests.
  • Offer suggestions for order substitutions for customers with allergies or other dietary restrictions.
  • Offer to help customers find seating and carry items to their tables
  • Perform cash handling, accountability and input into the system
  • Provide training of customers with anything they need, such as utensils, coffee items, booster seats or directions to the restroom.
  • Serve guests with minimal delay and timely service
  • Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes, to keep equipment and facilities sanitary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience with guest service and working in a multi dining restaurant concept.
  • Must be able to reasonably and rationally handle guest comments, questions, and complaints.
  • Previous food service experience.
  • Experience handling cash and using credit card processing machines.
  • Culinary school or food industry-specific experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Physical stamina to withstand a full shift potentially on their feet.
Work Environment:
  • Ability to pull, push, and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Extended and irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays (Required).
