Corporate Strategy Internship

The role will work with the VP of Strategic Development to drive internal strategic plans, analyze business performance and implement strategic and operational improvements across the business. Success requires analytical savvy, problem-solving sophistication and a drive to make the highest impact possible. We are looking for someone that can think on their feet and pushes to get things done.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Works with COIT's Executive Vice President and other senior leaders to drive strategic planning and implementation;
•Partners with teams based across the US to drive execution of national initiatives;
•Owns the end-to-end process: creates Work plans, synthesizes relevant data, leads analyses and develops final recommendations;
•Be personable, approachable and able to connect with the team and throughout the business;
•Works effectively with others who are based offices across the USA - must be effective over the phone, email, and web meetings
REQUIREMENTS
•Previous business strategy / consulting experience preferred;
•Project management skills preferred;
•Must currently be a student pursuing a degree in business (both undergraduate and MBA will be considered);
•Must have prior knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint; o Candidate should be able to build basic models in Excel. Advanced modelling skills preferred. o Candidate can communicate effectively and "tell a story" using PowerPoint
•Must bring business acumen and problem-solving skills;
•Must be able to work 10-25 hours per week for the duration of the internship;
•Must be able to provide own transportation to and from Corporate Office in Burlingame, CA
