Overview:

Do you enjoy working and meeting a wide range of people? Then check this out A Tournament Cashier sells and redeems chips, cashes personal checks, player bank withdrawals, markers and Cash Advance checks. Inputs transactions into computer by performing the duties outlined below.

Responsibilities:
  1. Sells and redeems chips for players and floor staff as specified by policy and procedures guidelines.
  2. Prepares paperwork and pay out monies on different casino drawings and promotions.
  3. Prepares Jackpot monies for winners. Pay out Jackpot monies to Floor or directly to winners.
  4. Issue tournament banks, handles players buy in into different tournaments.
  5. Prepares tournament reconciliation forms for the accounting department.
  6. Pays price pool monies as specified on the Tournament Reconciliation Form.
  7. Receives and verifies tournament monies for deposit and prepares tournament players bank deposits.
  8. Handles Players reward paid out and post players bank withdrawals into the computer.
  9. Cashes checks and markers for players up to pre-approved credit limit and posts transactions to the computer.
  10. Processes credit card cash advances using the Credit Card System.
  11. Responsible and accountable for Chip/Cash Fund as assigned at the window during the shift.
  12. Follows tax guidelines for Jackpot winnings and Tournament winnings as specified by policy and procedure.
  13. Other job related duties as assigned.


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma, or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) or equivalent. Associates degree preferred.
  • At least one year of cash-handling experience and is well versed in Title 31/AML procedures.

  • Banking or casino cage experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays.
  • MUST BE 21 YEARS OLD.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a current California gambling establishment employee permit, badge or license.
  • Must provide evidence of employment eligibility in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a mandatory drug test, criminal background and credit check.
