Civil Engineer Project Manager We currently seek a high caliber Civil Engineering Project Manager for a long-term basis within our clients team of experienced professionals. Based in Foothill Ranch, CA. As a Civil Engineering Project Manager specializing in land development, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of engineering projects, including site planning, grading, drainage, utility design, and permitting. You will collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure project are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory standards. Job Requirements Lead project teams in the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets Conduct site evaluations, feasibility studies, and due diligence assessments to determine project viability and scope Develop comprehensive engineering designs and plans for site layout, grading, drainage, and utilities, utilizing industry-standard software Prepare and submit permit applications, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and codes Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to achieve project objectives and deliverables Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies, project regular project updates and addressing any concerns or issues Coordinate with architects, surveyors, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and ensure seamless project delivery Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and support staff, fostering their professional development and growth Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the project team and across the organization Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license required Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development projects At least 3 years of proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from concept through construction Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other engineering design software Strong understanding of land development regulations, zoning codes, and permitting processes Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment Experience in client management and business development is a plus Commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and quality in all aspects of work ***Notice to Candidates: Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependent) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
