Job Description:

US Productions Technical Analyst

Hybrid position were you'd work onsite and remote.

Hours at Tuesday-Saturday 10am to 7pm

Full time position

Production e-discovery professionals are responsible for two major functions: direct client requests and internal projects. Requests can come in from clients at any time, are prioritized in a queue based on client and litigation deadlines and are typically completed within 12 hours. Analysts on the team must be able to evaluate and execute on these requests independently, quickly, and accurately using skills acquired in training and follow the special instructions. In addition to standard requests this position is expected to work with client managers to deliver custom work, identifying areas for improvement, and using SQL to provide data analysis.

The ideal candidate would be experienced in e-Discovery, understand the EDRM model, have experience working with e-Discovery platforms (Relativity and Viewpoint), be a self-starter and be able to analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems. They would have excellent problem solving skills, a high degree of intellectual curiosity, analytical skills and the ability to comprehend and master complex technical challenges. Candidates should also have outstanding organization, communication and follow-through with a focus on customer service.? Finally, they should be willing to take ownership of requests, and be willing to work flexible hours to meet changing client demands.

Duties:

  • Ensure client requests are completed correctly and on time.
  • Adhere to CLCS operational guidelines and processes, to ensure work is done consistently.
  • Work with other technical departments to resolve issues with scripts used for productions
  • Work with client and project management to ensure client requirements can be met.
  • Provide senior support for off shore team.

Requirements:

  • Background in key technologies, including client/server environments, network technologies, databases and web-based technologies
  • Excellent English oral and written communications skills; ability to interact with management and co-workers, and customers.
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment as well as Windows
  • High attention to detail. Be able to follow instructions, run perl scripts and check to see if it matches desired output.
  • Experience in query based databases: SQL, SQLplus, Oracle SQL, mySQL, MS Access
  • Ability in SQL, Excel or other BI tools for data analysis and presentation

  • Ability to adhere to strict deadlines and frequently work within a tight timeframe
  • Experience working with large data sets and transferring data to media. Local analyst would help with shipping media to make client deadlines.
  • Identify and communicate timelines, deliverables and key milestones for assigned work requests
  • Provide technical guidance to both internal and external clients, ensuring the most-sound technical solutions are being offered.
  • Mentoring less experienced analysts in the department
