Call is shared with a group of laborists and generalists. There are no in-office clinics for this position. Patient encounters per shift and patient per shift vary.- Perform and interpret FHR (NST/CST/FSE)- Preferred skills in OB ultrasounds, including performance and interpretation for Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted (anatomic)- Routine delivery and complex cases required, including vaginal deliveries, low forceps, decision-making for c-sections, breech, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs- Skilled in the repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations- Office/minor gynecology procedures required, such as IUD insertions, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.- Surgical gynecology, including both open and laparoscopic diagnostics/minor only (tubal ligation, LOA's, chromotubation)- Major operative procedures required, including ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's- Laser certification requiredThis facility is designated as Trauma Level 1 with no PEDs level.
