Job Description

Essential Job Functions:
Partners with plant leadership and Commercial teams to produce weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasts as required.
Reviews and audits BOMs to ensure accurate costing.
Ensures financial control environment is compliant with applicable laws and YFAI financial policies.
Coordinates supplier purchase order amendments, prices changes related to procurement agreements, engineering changes, or other cost reduction initiatives.
Performs and maintains all functions related to Product Costing System.
Monitors performance to forecast and provides early communication to plant leadership when budget concerns or opportunities arise.
Additional Responsibilities:
Participates in VA/VE/CR implementation timing and cost tracking.
Produces all reports necessary for month-end closing; supervisors on-site accounting personnel.
Prepares daily measurables for reporting in staff meeting.
Assists department managers inanalysis of data.
Performs other duties deemed necessary by the Plant controller or GroupAccounting.
Education:
Bachelor's Level Degree |Area ofStudy: Accounting, Finance or similar.
*Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Qualifications:
5-7 Minimum Years ofExperience with Finance.
Less Than 1 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
Must be able and willing to travel if needed.
3 years of Manufacturing,Accounting, and supervision experience.
Is capable to create routine reporting and communicate information in a clear and concise manner.
Has an inquisitive nature, willing to research and validate using common problem-solving techniques.
Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly, able to inspire others to improve performance.
Strong Microsoft Officeand Excel skills.
Must be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software problems.
Has the ability to create visual aids for communication purposes.
Preferred Responsibilities:
QAD or similar ERP system.
Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
HFM / Hyperion / Smartview experience.
Work Environment: Office Environment. | May frequent manufacturing plants and must follow all rules while visiting locations.| Personal protective equipment is required. | Often exposed to distracting sounds and noisy conditions.
