Responsible for a variety of financial and administrative responsibilities necessary to support business operations, with a focus on the billing responsibilities and team overall. Essential Functions: · Manage a team of five billing specialists nationwide. · Monitor and adjust workload for employees and coordinate work schedules. · Train new employees and assist in on boarding. · Act as a liaison with the operations team and the accounting team. · Understand the procedures of entering data into billing templates and processing uploads and creating invoices. · Monitor the aging schedules and lead any collection processes. · Audit bills for accuracy and compliance with contract. · Manage the status of billings to customers and ensure full billing team compliance with timelines and protocols. · Ensures management remains informed of billing issues, and proactively finds solutions. · Recommends efficiencies and improvement methods, including internal controls, to ensure timely and accurate reporting. · Organize electronic filing and maintain project files and flow. · Contribute to team effort by accomplish related results as needed. · Distribution of invoices to client as specified in contract. · Other duties as required by the Assistant Controller. Minimum Qualifications: · Previous management or supervisory experience including remote workforce. · Experience processing accounting and financial information. · Ability to problem solve, take initiative, and prioritize to meet deadlines. · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. · Experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook. · Prefer a degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and at least 10 years of experience. · Ability to manage stress in a fast-paced work environment. · Able to work as a team or independently. · Must have a strong work ethic and great attention to detail. Working Environment and Physical Demands : This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, cloud-based filing. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is expected to engage is daily conversation with team members. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to twenty pounds.
