**COMMUNICATION REGARDING TEST INFORMATION WILL BE SENT VIA EMAIL & TEXT**

PURPOSE AND NATURE OF WORK

Positions in this class perform general clerical duties, such as typing and filing personnel documents; maintaining general records; processing mail; and related tasks. Current position is in Human Resources. Some positions answer calls in the 311-call center, sorts and handles interdepartmental and postal mail, makes packages ready for shipment and performs internal and external mail routes in varying weather conditions. Valid Louisiana driver's required upon appointment for some positions.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

Graduation from high school, experience in general clerical work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience is desired.

TYPE OF EXAMINATION

Examination will be a multiple-choice test.
