Hive, LLC is seeking an experienced EDI Specialist to join our team. As an EDI Specialist, you will be responsible for managing electronic data interchange (EDI) processes, ensuring the accurate and efficient exchange of data between our company and external partners. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and vendors, to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, while also implementing and maintaining EDI standards and protocols. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare EDI transactions and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

+ Maintain EDI X12 transaction sets, including 837, 835, and 270/271

+ Set up and manage EDI partner connections and trading relationships

+ Monitor EDI transactions, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

+ Investigate and resolve EDI errors and exceptions

+ Collaborate with stakeholders to address EDI-related issues and provide timely resolution

+ Maintain knowledge of industry standards and best practices in EDI

+ Participate in the testing and implementation of new EDI processes and enhancements

+ Provide training and support to internal teams on EDI processes and procedures

+ Set up and maintain payer fee tables

Requirements

+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in EDI implementation and support in healthcare or related field

+ Strong knowledge of healthcare EDI standards, including X12 and HIPAA regulations

+ Experience with EDI mapping and translation tools

+ Proficiency in SQL and data querying preferred

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

+ Ability to manage projects simultaneously and achieve goals
