Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all mechanical and electrical components of production and facility equipment. You will work independently and ensure optimal efficiency through preventive maintenance, problem-solving, and effective management. Responsibilities Keep machinery operating at optimal efficiency through preventive maintenance, problem-solving, and reporting. Repair equipment promptly following breakdowns. Assist with line changeovers in the bakery and packaging rooms as necessary. Support the baker and supervisor during the startup of ovens. Work with electrical motors/drives and perform electrical troubleshooting. Weld as needed. Conduct general preventive maintenance, including lubrication and adjustments. Work on daily project lists provided by the Maintenance Supervisor. Adhere to company safety procedures as per OSHA regulations. Complete quality and food safety tasks for your position. Essential Skills Industrial Mechanical/Electrical maintenance Hydraulic/pneumatic repair Troubleshooting Experience with AC/DC motors and 3-phase wiring Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Why Work Here? The environment is clean and temperature-controlled, with temperatures reaching up to 130 degrees in the Oven Room. Employees must adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and wear appropriate PPE, including boots and clean working clothes. The role involves various levels of noise exposure and moderate exposure to chemicals. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lititz, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
