Familiarity with a variety of project execution styles and delivery methods, including EPC preferred. + 15 years of hands-on experience in designing chemical, physical, and/or biological wastewater treatment systems; evaluating and selecting treatment technologies; working with equipment vendors; and leading the design of industrial water and/or wastewater treatment facilities preferred. + Professional Engineering License (PE) preferred. + A strong track record of water/wastewater treatment design projects within industrial markets is preferred. + Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures. Strong knowledge of process design codes ( ASME , ANSI , API , PIP , NACE ). + Extensive knowledge of water environment issues and wastewater characteristics in petroleum, chemical, manufacturing, and food & beverage applications preferred. + Expert computer skills including process simulation software (i.e. Hysys and/or Aspen, HTRI ) is preferred. + Understand Front End Planning phases and the associated project deliverables preferred. + Knowledge of emerging contaminants and corresponding treatment technologies is preferred. + Abilities to apply in-depth and diversified knowledge of water and wastewater treatment principles and practices to a broad area of assignments preferred. + Have excellent written and verbal communication skills with project teams and clients as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Experience with leading the discipline design for large projects and delegating work tasks to team members. Ability to lead execution of work and resolve issues in a team environment. + Demonstrated critical thinking skills, the ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment. + Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills. + Ability to perform quality reviews for detailed engineering documents and specifications.
