Responsibilities

•Communicate and document changes to scope, timeline, material orders, or any other issues that arise with all key stakeholders
•Anticipate needs and mitigate risks
•Make informed recommendations based on common challenges
•Supervise general contractors and laborers and provide direction when needed to ensure the job is high quality
•Calculate the cost estimate of all project tasks and accurately manage the project budget
•Implement systems to organize tools, vehicles, and equipment, and schedule maintenance for them if necessary
•Inform key stakeholders of the status of the project by producing regular progress reports
•Negotiate profitable agreements with external vendors, contractors, and critical subcontractors

Qualifications

•One year of previous experience as a construction project manager required
•Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
•Experience using construction or project management software preferred
•Strong communication skills, leadership skills, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and time-management skills
