Senior Buyer

As a Senior Buyer, your primary responsibility is to manage the sourcing and acquisition of materials necessary for operations at a production site. You will also oversee warehouse operations to ensure smooth functioning.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with vendors for material procurement
Supervise warehouse activities
Evaluate vendor offers and negotiate favorable terms
Identify potential vendors to minimize risks
Provide procurement guidance to the organization
Maintain accurate records and manage purchase orders
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
Implement efficient warehouse practices

Requirements

Qualifications:

At least 5 years of procurement experience in relevant industries including chemical, oil and gas, energy or similar
Strong negotiation skills
Leadership experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficiency in English required

Skills:

Understanding of procurement processes
Negotiation skills
Familiarity with inventory management
Knowledge of industry regulations
Proficiency in MS Office suite
