Summary of Position:
  • Respond to the Unemployment claims in a timely manner.
  • Maintain unemployment files and cost of claims, quarterly reports.
  • Participate in hearings both by phone and in person.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Process all unemployment claims.
  • Maintain files of UI claims.
  • Process labor reports.
  • Develop and maintain cost control reports quarterly.
  • Schedule unemployment hearings.
  • Attend local unemployment hearings.
  • Provide weekly reports of unemployment claims filed, status of claims and action process.
  • Confer with the HR Assistant Manager on all major UI claims.
  • Organize and prioritize daily mail.
  • Take overflow of calls from Supervisors office.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Detail-oriented
  • 6 months or more experience in a personnel/human resources environment.
  • Computer literacy required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are mandatory.
  • Strong organizational and filing skills.
