Vancouver Clinic is looking for a Patient Service Representative to join our team This person will greet, assist and provide excellent customer service to our patients checking in for appointments.

Location: this person will float to different locations, covering various shifts at our clinics in Oregon.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Varying 8 hr shifts from 7am-5pm.

Compensation: Hourly compensation minimum is $17.60, dependent on qualifications and professional experience. Base Medical, Dental, and Rx Insurance premium is 100% paid for by Vancouver Clinic for full-time employees. Additional float differential of $3/hr.

Position Summary: This person must have a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and the desire to make a positive impact on our patientsResponsibilities include welcoming and greeting patients and their families, collecting co-pays, obtaining and completing insurance information, answering phones, scheduling, referrals, and other duties as assigned. If you have the ability to multitask, work well with others as part of a team, and can maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment, we want you on our team

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical front office experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience required.
  • Experience with Epic preferred.
  • Excellent phone skills and customer service behaviors.
  • Strong computer keyboarding skills required.


Pay Range:
$16.48 - $23.07

We also offer a 401k retirement plan, with employer contributions after your first year of employment. Benefits-eligible employees accrue PTO and Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked, totaling 120 hours in the first year for full time staff and 200 hours in the first year for full time supervisors and above, increasing in subsequent years. PTO and Personal Time accruals are pro-rated by FTE/hours worked. Non-benefits eligible employees will accrue Personal Time based on hours worked and State worked.
