Reports to: Director of Engineering and Technology

Redivius is a startup company that specializes in the reclamation of bitumen and fillers from used asphalt shingles, partnering with Owens-Corning to create a circular economy for the commercial and residential shingles and sealant markets. Revidius’ patent pending green technology reverses the effects of human activity on the environment with plans to build and operate commercial recycling facilities to recover 2 million tons of used shingles by 2030. We are looking for a hand on Senior Electrical and Process Control Engineer (E&PCE), with a shared passion for protecting the environment, to develop and implement advanced controlled systems for brown and green field facilities throughout North America.

Job Description:

The E&PCE will work in cooperation with company personnel in the design, development, installation, and commissioning of Redivius processes and process equipment, and other support functions for Redivius, as designated by the Director of Engineering and Technology.

Key Tasks

Design and program PLC and HMI based control systems.

Size low and medium voltage power systems.

Implement control system design integration with electromechanical devices and instrumentation (selection, configuration & calibration).

Lead factory acceptance tests to demonstrate design and programming has met project specifications.

Apply standard communication protocols TCP/IP, Modbus.

Support the operations department with bill of materials, shop aids, schematics, inspection reports, and training.

Support the service department with maintenance, and repair of equipment and field installations.

Administer engineering procedures such as engineering change notices (ECN) and corrective action reports (CAR).

Participate in the weekly engineering meetings and ensure that agreed upon actions are initiated and met.

Prepare and maintain a high standard of documentation control per Redivius ISO9001:2015 quality standard.

Essential skills

Job site experience – minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Process environment.

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology (EET/ECET), electrical engineering (EE), or demonstrated capacity and capabilities.

Minimum 5 years technical expertise in developing Control systems.

Excellent PC skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to work with Operations, Accounting and Sales within the Redivius organization.

Able and willing to relocate to or commute on a daily basis to Jeffersonville, IN.

Preferred skills

Experience developing and maintaining PLC programs written in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, and Instruction List formats.

PLC/HMI selection, configuration and programming; specifically, Rockwell (Studio 5000) and Automation Direct (DirectSOFT 6, Productivity Suite, CLICK, C-More).

Panel design and build utilizing electrical CAD.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.

SCADA/MES integration and development.

Selection and integration of sensors, controllers, and other 3rd party equipment.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, i.e. TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, and RS-232/RS-485.

Good understanding of processing equipment including instrumentation.
