Job Responsibilities Responsible for titling, registering, and collecting taxes for all motor vehicles and property taxes while providing a wide variety of services in compliance with all applicable state laws and regulations and in accordance with Jackson County policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Processing of tax payments for Real Property, Personal Property, Mobile Homes, Aircraft, and Motor Vehicles, and Privilege Licenses. Processing of titles and registrations for Motor Vehicles and Mobile Homes. Processing tag renewals. Processing requests for handicap placards. Any duty assigned that is similar, related, or a logical assignment of the position. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Prior clerical and cash handling experience is needed. Mastery of oral and written communication, reading comprehension, and basic math and reasoning skills.
