Capable of performing extensive electronic assembly of products, including the following: SMT component repairs (fine-pitch included), through-hole component replacements, PCB substrate and trace repair. Works in a team environment, reading and following manufacturing procedures and prints. Increase advanced job skills required for improvement and growth. Always striving for quality to meet or exceed the customers' expectations.
Shift: M-F, 0600-1430

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

  • Demonstrated proficiency in electronic assembly, including fine pitch SMT and through-hole soldering, surface-mount and through-hole component replacement, PCB repair, and knowledge of associated tools.
  • Provide RMA repair support as required on warranty/non-warranty returns.
  • Function as part of a dynamic team.
  • Maintain and meet production requirements through Team scheduling and quality meetings.
  • Problem-solving within a team environment using the problem-solving principles from SPC and TQC
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess good manual dexterity and be able to read and build from procedures and prints.
  • Experience in fine pitch SMT soldering and knowledge of associated tools.
  • Training or certification in IPC-A-610.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow procedures and processes.
  • Minimum 3 years as Solder 2 or equivalent combination of education/experience in related field.
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing/repair required
  • Strong communication skills in both written and oral English
  • Computer literate (i.e. Windows, Excel, Word)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $22.00-$29.00 per hour (for hourly employees) Full-time employees are also eligible for performance based bonuses and benefits. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as a final offer amount may vary based on factors including but limited to experience, education, location, and shift. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on the date of hire, schedule type, and hours worked.
