NIHSS must be completed via NIHStrokeScale.org. RN license/nursys COVID vaccine - DECLINATIONS NOT ACCEPTED Please add vaccination status in the submission notes CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) NIHSS STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Maryland Compact Allowed ABOUT THE FACILITY 24 hours unbillable 1.5x OT/Call Back/Holiday OT starts after 48 hours Candidates may request off the equivalent of 1 week of their contracted hours. For a candidate who is contracted for 36 hours a week; they may request 36 hours off. This can be done in up to a 7-day time block (1 week) or a total of 36 hours if the dates requested off are separate. A candidate contracted for 40 hours/week would be able to request off 40 hours. Candidates will be considered for orientations scheduled up to 6 weeks out. RN and CNA orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday The 257 licensed bed facility (acute and sub-acute care) is located on a beautiful suburban campus that handles more than 23,000 admissions and over 52,000 emergency room visits annually. Gilchrist serves more than 7,600 patients each year-in homes, residential care communities and other medical settings, and at our three inpatient hospice centers in Towson, Howard County and Baltimore.
