We would love to have you as part of the Carrus TeamEssential FunctionsResponsible for intake functions for pre-admission, review of admission criteria and admission of patients with medical needs.Builds personal and trusting relationships with referral sources and department personnel.Maximizes clinical data collection to support the most appropriate MSDRG by utilizing knowledge of admission criteria, DRGs, utilization management and HIM coding.QualificationsRequires good organizational, time management and communication skills.Requires the ability to work independently and to prioritize responsibilities.Experience in third part reimbursement, DRGs, coding and PPS reimbursement is preferred.Behavioral health experience is preferred.Current state RN, LMFT, LPC or LMSW licensure is preferred.BLS certification is required upon hire.De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire.
