Our challenge

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Client Partner to join our team. The Client Partner in the BFS (Banking and Financial Services) domain will act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner for key accounts, driving business growth and client satisfaction. This individual will be responsible for managing high-value client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional IT services and solutions. The role demands deep domain knowledge, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership skills to deliver tangible business outcomes for clients.

The Role

Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for C-level executives and key stakeholders in BFS accounts.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships by understanding client needs, challenges, and objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, offering strategic insights and innovative solutions.
Revenue Growth & Business Development:
  • Drive account growth by identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling IT services and solutions.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to acquire new clients in the BFS domain.
Strategic Planning:
  • Lead the development of account plans aligned with client priorities and the company's strategic objectives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the BFS space.
Delivery Oversight:
  • Ensure the successful delivery of projects by coordinating with delivery teams and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Address and resolve escalations, ensuring a seamless client experience.
Collaboration & Leadership:
  • Partner with internal teams, including solution architects, delivery managers, and marketing, to design and propose tailored solutions.
  • Lead client-specific initiatives such as workshops, thought leadership sessions, and innovation labs.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members to build a strong account management team.
Contract Management:
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and compliance in alignment with company policies and client expectations.
Requirements:

You are:
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT services, with at least 5 years managing large BFS accounts.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of the BFS industry, including capital markets, retail banking, and fintech innovations.
  • Relationship Management: Proven ability to build relationships with C-level executives and manage multi-million-dollar accounts.
  • Business Acumen: Strong strategic thinking, financial management, and analytical skills.
  • Delivery Oversight: Experience ensuring the successful delivery of IT solutions, managing SLA compliance, and handling escalations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Technology Knowledge: Familiarity with digital transformation technologies, including AI, cloud, blockchain, and data analytics.
