POSITION SUMMARY: The VP of PR/Marketing is a key leadership position serving on the Executive Team and reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The position oversees outward facing departments of Isaiah House, including marketing, public relations, client care navigators and admissions. The VP will lead initiatives that build and execute the Isaiah House brand, strengthen marketing and communications, enhance community awareness, and foster strategic partnerships in order to build connections with those who need treatment. QUALIFICATIONS:
•Minimum bachelor's degree in English, communications, marketing, or other relevant field commensurate with minimum of five years of experience in marketing, and public relations
•Five years of experience of working in the field of addiction/recovery is preferred
•Ability to strategically develop and implement public relations, marketing tasks/projects that complement and work together to drive admissions and advocacy for Isaiah House
•Mission-driven and committed to the field of Christ-centered, holistic substance use disorder treatment
•Self-directed individual with experience building, developing, and managing results-oriented teams
•Possesses high ethical standards that promote the public's trust and confidence in Isaiah House
•Exceptional oral and written communications skills, possessing the ability to communicate with and gain the confidence of people from a variety of sectors and settings
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across the organization
•Capability to execute vision and strategy across the organization to influence key stakeholders (including senior leaders) on the design and implementation of programs, partnerships, and marketing strategies
•Proficient in leading, attracting, hiring, retaining, and developing high-performing teams and individuals
•A relationship builder who is trusted, creative, collaborative, persuasive, dependable and possesses high ethical standards

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
•Minimum of 40 hours per week
•In office is expected, but will be on the road as required to meet goals and as approved by the COO
JOB SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS:
•Manages the PR/Marketing/Admissions departments budget and allocates resources accordingly
•Sets priorities for the departments, delegates responsibilities, conducts planning and strategy sessions, trains staff, and plans professional development opportunities
•Coordinates across departments, taking into consideration the implications of decisions on areas throughout the organization
•Uses analytical skills and data analysis to drive decisions and achieve strategic objectives
•Provides guidance during internal/external crises that impact public relations, including communication with the media and serves as a spokesperson as needed
•Responsible for media relations, news releases and press conferences
•Oversees paid advertising, social media marketing, website development and maintenance
•Oversees IH Branding Guidelines and ensures compliance across all departments
•Provides leadership for the development of promotional materials, videography, photography and the documenting of IH history. (Annual report, Fact sheets, Flyers, Brochures)
•Ensures the updating of public information, directories, and descriptions of new centers and services
•Schedules and conducts facility tours; trains tour leaders
•Builds relationships and makes presentations to civic and community groups (ASAP, Rotary, etc.)
•Plans and executes grand opening events and graduation ceremonies
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Adheres to Isaiah House policies and procedures
- Attends mandatory in-services and other training/educational programs as required
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs):
- Meets weekly with the Client Care Navigator Supervisor and Admissions Director to review metrics, train and strategize
- Meets weekly with the Executive Operations Team to provide updates and insights
- Meets Monthly with the Finance Dept. to review departments P&L
- Meets with COO as requested
- Develops strategic plans to accomplish goals/metrics and provides monthly progress reports to COO
- Establishes, directs, and manages a marketing plan that successfully meets financial, giving and public awareness goals for the organization
- Collaborates with VP of Programs in matters related to admissions and census needs
