Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineers to integrate optical systems into larger product assemblies. Conduct hands-on laboratory work, including alignment, calibration, and performance testing of optical systems. Troubleshoot and optimize optical designs for performance improvements and cost reductions. Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in optical technologies and methodologies.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD is a plus.3+ years of experience in optical design, analysis, and testing. Proficiency in optical design software (e.g., Zemax, Code V, LightTools). Solid understanding of optics principles (geometrical optics, wave optics, polarization, etc.). Experience with laser systems, fiber optics, imaging systems, or photonics. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications: Hands-on experience with optical prototyping and fabrication. Familiarity with optomechanical and electro-optical systems. Experience with alignment and calibration of complex optical setups. Knowledge of regulatory standards in optics (ISO, FDA, etc.).
