From milk, juice, tea, and more, our client has been providing quality drink products to the mid-Atlantic region for over 85 years This dedicated team works together to produce over 51,500,000 gallons of drink products annually. To help with their continued success, we are looking for a Project Engineering Manager to plan and coordinate all Capital Expenditure and Continuous Improvement projects to be performed onsite.

Responsibilities:
Oversee maintenance and construction projects including:
Conducting operational tests to determine whether a design meets the specifications of the plant
Assisting with equipment selection and manufacturing layout plans

Embrace leadership duties including:
Providing direction to plant personnel
Ensuring proper procedures are being performed onsite and safety protocols are being met

Perform analytical duties including:
Evaluating the scope of work to be performed
Estimating materials and labor required
Researching costs of materials and equipment needed to complete jobs

Manage budgetary tasks including:
Maintaining the maintenance budget
Forecasting
Overseeing capital projects

Collaborate with department managers including:
Providing updates on projects
Communicating any concerns or delays
Gaining guidance on critical or unanticipated matters

Core Competencies:
Familiarity with maintenance operations
Engineering application
Project Management
Continuous Improvement Operations
Capital Expenditure Management
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills

Qualifications:
Previous experience as a plant engineer in a manufacturing environment
Continuous Improvement experience
Must have some kind of background in Food Manufacturing or Food CPG
Project Management
Proven track record of Cap-Ex project experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred
