Job Posting DescriptionThe Clinical Coordinator (RN) will be responsible for:Planning, organizing and overseeing daily clinical and administrative operations for the ED.Assisting with planning and instituting operational improvements in the ED.Preparing staff schedules, performing payroll tasks, requesting and allocating resources.Facilitating coordination of care/services to meet patient care and operation requirements.Developing, recommending and applying internal standards, policies and procedures to improve quality and cost-effectiveness of patient care.Assisting with selecting, supervising and evaluating nursing and clinical support personnel.Creating and implementing staff education/development programs.Leading and participating in hospital, departmental and multidisciplinary programs, committees and special projects.30hrs overnights; preferably 3 - 10 hour shifts (but can be flexible) and participate in on-callTo qualify, you must have:A Bachelor's degree in nursing.Completed, enrolled or plan to enroll into a Master's program within the next year preferred.Five+ years of nursing experience, including pediatric ED experience.
