SUMMARY
In collaboration with the Events & Scheduling Specialists, this position serves as a host for non-College sponsored events held at KCKCC campus locations.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
  • Represent and maintain the standards, rules, and general practices of Events and Scheduling as defined by supervisor.
  • Work with clients to fulfill their requests within the parameters of the rental agreement (during the event).
  • Serves as a point of contact for inquiries during events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in the customer service or hospitality sector.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Must demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
  • Positive working attitude with internal/external customers, and community members.
  • Must demonstrate great interpersonal and communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, talk, hear, walk, and sit. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may occasionally push or lift items.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Occasionally set up and move chairs, tables, podiums, etc.
  • Ability to hear instructions in a low controlled volume environment.
  • Ability to see in low light environment.

WORK SCHEDULE
Hours will be within 7:00 AM - 11:00 PM CT as based on the individual event. Must be able to work a variable schedule/hour to meet operational needs. Requires evening and weekend hours.
